The Woodsman The movie, The Woodsman, highlights the story of an ex-convicted child molester who attempts to assimilate back into society and overcome his past, but struggles with the world and himself. Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult is sexually attracted to young children. Also, unnatural attraction, displayed as an act or fantasy, of individuals under the age of fourteen. The causes of pedophilia are unknown, but mostly explained by genetics, learned behavior, male sexual hormones, brain wires and chemicals, or childhood sexual abuse where the victim becomes the victimizer.
