This career is what keeps other people on the move. With the task in hand they can do most anything for someone in emergencies or on schedule. What may look hard to the world is easy for them. Surgeons have great skills and knowledge to help people in need. Pediatric surgery requires 8- 10 years of college and residency, stamina and dexterity, and a flexible schedule. Standing for hours with still hands is vital in this field. When surgeons are working on a patient water is vital for long surgeries, like twenty-four hours or longer, soon cramps will come and could cause more damage than good. Pediatric surgeons must have a more steady and higher dexterity in my opinion because everything is smaller and fragile. Good physical stamina is nice in the long run when they are standing over a table for hours. Balance is key. By performing surgery they could get a simple biopsy or diagnose the mysterious symptoms a patient is having. On a regular basis they would do rounds, checking on their patients, and then treating a diagnosis. What most people think of is getting a benign tumor removed, appendectomy, or open heart surgery.
