The comic expressed the problem with drug addiction through using phones. It portrayed that today there is a daily struggle with addiction that is our phones. Sure it is not a hard substance that people consume through their bodies, but in a sense it is. You take in every bit of knowledge and stupidity that is on the internet. Things on social media have led people to their deaths. Drugs kill, so in an essence your phone is a drug. This really hit me hard because I feel as though I myself cannot function without my phone. I'm left with high anxiety without it. Also many of my friends have problems with it. I feel like it effects how much attention I put into things in my everyday life.
