This is a day triumphs many others in the American history. It was a death sentence to everyone inside the ships. The men were trapped inside them for weeks on end and died because they couldn’t get out. No one was prepared for the event either. Most of the men thought that the pilots were practicing, and they were mad by having the nerve to pratice on a Sunday because of Sundays importance. In the U.S., Sundays represent, for some religions, a holy day of rest and worship. By the Japanese attacking them it was a slap in the face to many religious people in the U.S. Since the Japanese thought that Americans were only rich idiots, honoring something holy to them is regardless.
By the act of extreme violence, the Japanese showed us they didn’t care about a fair fight with the U.S. or the Allies. This is one of the reasons why the U.S. entered the the war and arose their hatred to Japan. Americans will never forget the inhumanity Japan gave to Pearl Harbor that day. They left no ship unbombed, even if it meant a suicide attack. They stopped at nothing to make sure they inflicted as many casualties and show America how great they thought they were. But America stood up to the fight to make sure the world knew what America was made of after December 7,
