Being a peak performer means creating excellence by focusing on results. They know how to transform their negatives into positives. They also know how to break down their goals into easier steps. (Bethel,2013,Pg. 6) Peak performers also take risks and move outside their own comfort zones. They are motivated and stay confident and resilient. Peak performers strive to do the absolute best that they can in everything they do. I would improve myself by increasing my scores in my weakest categories i will do this by setting goals for myself and working on abilities that I am not good at. I will apply what I have learned about my strength in day to day life and further increase my skills. For instance my weakest skill is time management I can develop this skill by setting a schedule and sticking to it. Another weaker skill of mine is positive attitude and motivation I will improve this skill by surrounding myself with people who have positive attitudes and use this to motivate myself. i learn best when i hear information I like to listen to music and tapes i remember things by saying it aloud several times when I study I like to review my notes allowed and talk to to other and i have fun telling stories and jokes. I will use this information to my advantage by informing others of my preferred learning style. I also plan to become a little bit more proficient at using the other two learning styles. There is not a best learning style and I believe that being well rounded in all three learning styles can make you an optimum learner. Until I become a well rounded learner i can tell people that verbal instruction suits me best and that I would be better off with verbal instruction.
