To his flawless boxing skills to his wise words, he was known as a leader. In the 1960s Muhammad Ali ended up in a situation that people in this world today would still remember even though he is not in this world anymore. During this time Muhammad Ali refused to comply with the military draft. He was inducted into the military to go with the USA to fight against Vietnam. Muhammad Ali refused to go to war with the Vietnam because he felt that it was wrong for him to go out and help killed innocent Vietnam people when in this world we was dealing with the racism with African American people plus the killing of black people. His refusal to comply led him to be arrested. Mr. Ali didn't flee to other parts of the world to escape the problems that he was facing like some people do when a problem occur. He faced them head on and I quote "Just take me to jail." which he said. This situation here is an example of peaceful resistance with the law. He didn't act on violence, he know him refusing to comply with the law could lead to him to being arrested so he just accepted his fate and let them arrest him. no violence occur which is a good thing.
