Watler said the restaurant had levels of more than 500 parts per million. Anything over 50 parts per million is considered hazardous.
"That is an extremely high reading," Watler said.
Along with PCFR and its special operations unit, Sheriff's Office deputies and a medivac helicopter were on scene.
One man was originally going to be airlifted to a hospital in Orlando which has a hyperbaric chamber, which provides 100 percent oxygen with controlled atmospheric pressure, but he refused flight transport. He was taken by ambulance to LRHMC, Watler said.

"If the early signs of carbon monoxide are ignored, a person may lose consciousness and be unable to escape the danger," he said.
The most common symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning are headache, dizziness, weakness, upset stomach, vomiting, chest pain and confusion, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
