For students like myself, parents and anyone that plans on being involved in a university this is a major issue. Tuition rates like this are not only hard on the students who have to pay them, but many of the times they are a decisive factor on whether a person will continue an education for a better future. There are thousands of intelligent minds that never have the opportunity to show what they are capable of because they couldn’t afford too. If we as a country are denying education to students who can’t afford to pay the extremely high tuition rates, then we should not consider ourselves a dominant world power. If we really stop and think about it, what is the probability that one of those students could be the ones to find a cure for cancer, HIV or even stopped world hunger? Well I guess we will never now their true talents, because only the rich should have the opportunity to have an impact in our world today, right? To me this is completely idiotic and a clear segregation based on your economic status. Those who disagree clearly have the money to pay these incredible tuitions, or are just really uninformed on what is going on in the world around
