Pay for Play in NCAA Sports

In the last few years there has been a growing controversy over whether or not college athletes should be paid to play college sports. The sports world is divided on the issue, with the NCAA saying that players should not be paid and players saying that they deserve payment for their work. Below is the argument in favor of paying athletes.

Pay players

Universities and the NCAA make millions of dollars in cash, donations, exposure for universities. Universities and private companies also make money selling players likenesses for profit (think college sports video games). Players get none of this money.
