These are our target customers for three reasons; first they generally have a disposable income that can afford the services we offer. Second they are busy working longer which means they are gone more and not able to give as much attention to their dogs. Third they are value based, they do not want to waste their money on inexpensive services that are not up to their standards, and they do not mind paying an extra five to ten dollars on a day of dog care if it has the value and quality we are offering.

Advertise your event in the community pages of local newspapers and magazines. Place fliers at veterinarians' offices, local dog grooming facilities and posted throughout the area for people to see. We will also offer a website that will allow customers to learn about our company, mission, and objective in running our business.

Maintaining personal relationships is important to my business. Keeping an honest and trustworthy name with the Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau, help send customers my way. Also, keeping healthy relationships within my town, keeps not only my business, but the cities businesses financially healthy. I will also have a good personal relationship with the bank manager to help with the financing.

Host a grand opening week that features special canine refreshments and free extra playtime. Offer introductory discounts for owners who enroll pets for at least three months. Customer refers a friend and the new customer purchases a package of day care, the customer who referred the new customer will receive one day free. We will offer coupons around the time of opening to allow the community to try our services and benefit from them at a lower than usual price, giving us a larger customer base to start and allow word of mouth to start throughout the
