Failure is a very hard thing to accept sometimes, but when someone finds out all success usually comes from failing once or twice, then people are all for failing a couple times. Even though failure hurts, and brings people down, keep trying, because it will one day lead to success. “Why Failure is Good for Success” is an article by Pauline Estrem from a magazine called “Success”. The article is about how failing is a good step to success, and most people have to fail a number of times to be successful or find what is best for them. She said in this article “the sweetest victory is the one that’s most difficult” (Estrem, 2016, pg. 1, para 1). Everyone learns from their mistakes, and they soon fix them, and succeed. Estrema once said “Failure and defeat are life’s greatest teachers” (Estrem, 2016, pg. 1, para 4). People will make so many mistakes in a lifetime, but whatever mistake it is and no matter how bad it is, people can always learn from it. The failure part of life teaches everyone for the next time the same type of situation comes up. Learning from self made mistakes helps people change their ways to do things and so they don’t make the same mistake the next time around. Nobody will be yelled at for failing, so people decide not to try, and they give up on what needs to happen for them to be successful. “If they make no waves, they attract no attention” (Estrem, 2016, pg. 1, para. …show more content…

Most of the time, if someone gos big, it’ll pay out for them eventually. “The quickest road to success is to possess an attitude of ‘no fear’” (Esterm, 2016, pg. 2, para. 2). To get work done, and to get to success, sometimes people will have to stay competitive, and they will have to go the extra mile everyday to try and become successful. To achieve the best, to reach a peak, to make anything that was thought impossible possible, think big, and push towards the best. The biggest thing is to never give up or go the easy way, because that will get everyone that does that, nowhere. (Estrem,

But failures are not all bad; in fact, I believe that they bring more positive outcomes than negative. They are not permanent and they are not self-defining, failures do not identify my worth or abilities, but rather present opportunities for growth. They are simply obstacles, roadblocks, as well as stepping-stones, to success. Failure can occur at any point while striving towards the goal, as any attempt at succeeding involves multiple steps, and each step requires successful completion. Failure is expected, and it is because of failure that perseverance and determination show in additional attempts at success. The more often a person fails and takes a second chance, the stronger he or she becomes, and his or her chance at ultimately succeeding and reaching his or her goal increases dramatically. Without failure, success would not have any meaning, and the achievement has a greater significance if it required hard work. It is also through mistakes and upsets that the right way is learned.…

The most important thing is how we learn and are able to benefit from our previous failures. The first reaction of failure for some, is that they view their failures in a positive way rather than seeing the negative side of the situation. They are able to see the benefits that they gain from being positive. In the same way I agree with how the authorsaid “… a potential stepping stone to new ideas.” First of all, most people have had past experienceswith their failures.…

The article, “Want to Get Into College? Learn to Fail” by Angel B. Perez is about learning from your failures. Perez gave many examples from students on how some are scared to fail and some get a life lesson out of failing. An example from the article that helped me understand the main point was when Perez said, “We believe an error in high school should not define the rest of your life, but how you respond could shape you forever.” I understood from this line that Perez believes that students should admit their mistakes because by doing so they become a different person.…
