One way that shows the British are responsible is that they shot unarmed colonists. Paul Revere’s Engraving- “A Bloody Massacre” shows that the soldiers were firing at the colonists who didn’t have any weapons to fight back with. The picture displays the British holding and using muskets, bayonets, and a sword, while the colonists have no weapons. The colonists were only responding by falling to the ground and dying, although there were still some standing.
