Paul Rapture

Decent Essays
I, too, also think that the word “rapture” is synonymous to the world ending. This is like the story of Noah’s ark all over again where God sent flood to end people’s corruption and violence. During this time, God’s only way to wash away the sins of the world is to wipe out corrupted people. Fast forward to New Testament, Paul describes rapture opposite to what we think it should be. From my understanding of Paul, he wants us to put our minds at ease, just like what you believe about death and the coming of the Lord. Our bodies may decay but our soul will stay alive through God and Jesus Christ.

Deputy Paul as witness of Jefferson's transformation, opened his eyes to the wrong the whites were doing to the blacks and knew he was risking his life to be friends with the black community, producing the thought of possibly helping them gain equality. Paul the Apostle was a witness of Jesus Christ and undergoes his own transformation. Paul while on his way to Damascus to persecute Jews was blinded when Jesus called out to him. Jesus called out then to Ananias the Apostle and Ananias laid his hands on Saul and through the Holy Spirit Saul's eyes regained sight and he was baptized. Analysis of Paul 's Actions in the Story Paul 's Case The case of Paul presents many complex angles that may have affected Paul in ways that are difficult to determine, such as his upbringing, family life (or lack of), time period, sexuality, and others. Paul developed an unhealthy relationship with art, to the point of obsession. An unrelated, but no less destructive view of money fused with his art addiction to eventually lead to Paul 's downfall. These two independent problems are not unusual (especially concerning money), but they may have been fused together by Paul 's struggle with his sexually in a non-accepting time period. Paul has a relationship with art strikingly similar to the relationship a drug addict has with his…

I believe that, by using Socrates’ own arguments, we can see that the soul cannot, in fact, be deathless. Socrates says that the soul is what gives the body life: “what is it that, present in a body, makes it living? – A soul” (Plato, Phaedo, 105d). So, it seems that, without the soul, the body itself would be lifeless. If the soul is the only thing that gives the body life, then how is it possible for us to die?…

Eschatology is the study of what is commonly referred to as the “end times.” This era in history was foretold by the book of Revelation in the New Testament. This field of study can have both good and bad come from it. An example of a good thing from it would be to recognize signs of Christ’s second coming and to let those signs strengthen one’s faith. A bad result that could be pulled from studying Eschatology would be a person attempting to pick a date for when Jesus comes back to retrieve all his followers.…
