When speaking of Prime Ministers past and present it is always obvious to note how every one of them has a unique legacy to attached to their tenure as Canada's leader. The Kelowna Accord was another huge win for Martin as it set out the basis for stripping the inequality between Canada's First Nations and the rest of Canadians when it came to vital services such as healthcare and education. Looking back at some of the more social and accepting advancements in Canada its hard to not mention Same-Sex Marriage that became legal in Canada in 2005 while Martin was Prime Minister.
