Painters, along with other artists, began to travel to pastoral areas from populated downtowns. To illustrate this further, here’s an example. Paul Gauguin was an artist from France. In his youth, he would paint as a hobby rather than a career. It wasn’t until he moved to a remote island in Tahiti, where he emerged as an artist. During this time in Tahiti, he used nature around him as a form of inspiration. He created many landscapes, flowers, and used bold colors to do so. Until now, Gauguin had frequently painted portraits of others. He later died from many heart problems after constructing many amazing works.
