Pattyn Von Stratten killed her father and is on the run, she killed her father after finding him abusing her sister, who was just raped by one of the boys at their church. Pattyn’s(Patty) mom gave her money, clothes, and a car. Patty wanted to see the ocean once before she turned herself in, so she rode a bus to California. Patty met a woman named Ariana on the bus. Adriana gave her a place to stay, in return she took care of Ariana’s sister and her baby who were both sick with measles. Soon after she met Ariana’s brother, Angel and he got her a job working in a house. Once she started working there, there was a girl named Sophie and one named Deirdre(Dee) who killed a large number of horses. Patty has many sisters, the one who was raped, her name is Jackie, she a …show more content…
Jackie also told the librarian, who also pushed her to report him. Jackie’s mother was in a “relationship” with Calebs father, who was a lawyer. Her mother didn’t want her to press charges saying that is was her fault for inviting him over to talk. Patty learned that she liked training a horse ‘Shoshone’ and she trained the wild horse to be tame. After Patty’s boyfriend/fiancé, Ethan, and their baby was killed in a car crash caused by her father, she thought she could never find love again, but she then began to fall in love with Angel. After a while, Dee caught them sleeping together(in a non-sexual way). Angel, Patty, and Angels friend Javier were on their way to church, when Dee stopped them, pulled out a rifle, and shot Javier, Javier died. Then she turned and pointed it at Patty, Angel jumped in front and was shot in the shoulder, but the bullet went through him and into Patty. Before this happened, Patty saw them and wrote on a scrap of paper that is was Dee, then singed it. After they were taken to the hospital, her family was notified, and they all testified why Patty shot her
