Patriotism Patriotism a way that an individual takes ownership of their country. It is one who has national feeling or national pride as ethnic, cultural, political or a historical aspect. A patriot is defined to have love and loyalty to its country. Soldiers who fight with love toward their homeland, have the power to win against their enemy. A patriotism citizen takes pride of his/her country achievements and our country’s diverse culture. Without it you would not be enjoying its independence today. For example, here in the United States, the Fourth of July is a memorable day. We honor the Declaration Independence and the birth of the United States. By waving a state flag, wearing a representation of your country, volunteering for civil services, voting or enlisting in the army is a great way to show patriotism. By keeping your country from not falling, vote for someone you know will be a great leader. Showing appreciation and helping other citizens is a great way. Enjoying our country by learning its history of our ancestors who worked to make our country a better place.
