What is happening in the movie “Patriot” they are trying to get there land back that the red coats stole from them. They are not happy about it at all but they cannot defeat them with just their militia army they needed more help to fight them off. But the Militia army did good at fighting off for a while then they were coming in higher amounts of people which the militia army just could not handle alone. So they needed felt and that is when the French come in. But the main people who plays a key role in beating the red coats is Benjamin Martin and his one son Gabriel Martin because they are the ones who made the militia army. without them fighting off the red coats for a little while they would have never been able to win the war between them. …show more content…
That is what he does with the last fight he gets the militia army to starts out front thinking that they are the only army. But they are not the french are behind them so the red coats cannot see them. So they were told to fire two shots and retreat and they retreated right into the French army. So they charge the militia army but they get to the french and fight with and raise the red coats. But it does not work so they retreat but Benjamin does not let them. He tells them no retreat and start to fight. They run back and the red coats die off and cannot defeat the french and militia army so they start to retreat. He sees the person that killed his son and he tries to kill him and that is what he does he kills him for his son. So when they win the red coats surrendered and they won and got all their land back. They started to rebuild their cities to make them a better place. The place that this story takes place during American revolution.
