Overview of the case:
I am currently investigating the murder of Patrick Maloney. We had received a call from Mary Maloney around ten past five in the evening. She told us that Patrick has been killed when she arrived from buying vegetables in her local grocery store. Patrick was killed in the living room, from a severe hit on the back of his head.
Crime Scene:
As soon as we got there, we saw Patrick’s dead body lying on the floor in the living room. There was a pleasant smell and some vegetables in the kitchen, so I thought that Mary was cooking dinner for Patrick. I also saw a drink that was strong on a cupboard.
