On March 23,1775 Patrick Henry delivered a speech to the second Virginia Convention. This speech indicates Henry’s views on the issues with America and Britain. He respectfully introduces his points on what specific actions should be taken to resolve the conflict. Henry starts off by addressing the men who had spoke before him that day in the house. They all argued against what Henry was about to propose. The other members suggested that they should continue asking for more freedom, sending letters of protests, and protesting to go through non-violent means in order to resolve the problems at hand.
