Now onto how it has to be won over and over again. In 1988, the first feminist movement started in regards to women being able to vote. We gained the right to vote, but we are still fighting to have equal pay as men. Yes, conditions have gotten better, but did the freedom and rights that we gained stay? Well, yes and no. We won the ability for women to vote, but there were many issues that we had to fight for also. A true feminist fights for the equality of all genders, and seeks to rid the world of dominance and superiority of certain genders. They don’t wish to make men feel inferior or as if they don’t matter. That’s the whole issue of meninists, females and males that choose to bash the feminist campaign because they’ve dealt with the “feminists” who hate men, period.
