The short story “Lopsided Love” was written by Patrick Bennett, who was from west Texas and published in 2000. The type of character Rudy Beck is dynamic because his attitude is changing from shallow to deep person after Lulu faces her fears about her ex-husband. He is now more caring, thoughtful, and considerate. Lulu was a waitress at Lone Star Café around the corner from the shoe shop where Rudy worked and she is also a musician with a cello. She was tall and slim with long arms and legs and she doesn’t have large brassiere even though she hardly needs bra, she is also the kind fashion magazine show a boyish charm with big brown eyes, wide mouth, and long blonde hair. She looked like someone who have a gold tooth but she doesn’t have it. According to the story Lulu has an ugly scar on her one ear where the ear is missing.
