I believe that John Wade is not guilty of directly murdering his wife but he however is guilty of driving her to her ultimate death. First, there is no evidence that John hurt her in any way that night. Police forces and even K-9 units tore apart the cabin and found nothing incriminating of John. Also in a hypothesis chapter it said that John could have poured boiling water onto Kath’s face effectively killing, then he proceeded to dump her ,along with the sheets, into the lake but if this were true there would have been singed skin cells around the bed, the mattress would've been noticeably damp to Wade the morning after, and there would have been his fingerprints all of the boat house. Secondly, all the evidence points to Kath taking the boat out and getting lost in the lake.…

A detective lost track of John Ramsey for over an hour in which time he would have plenty of time to roam around and potentially alter, or contaminate important forensic evidence (Thomas, & Davis, 2011, p. 28). Additionally, when John Ramsey found the body he removed her from the basement, carried her upstairs, covered her in a blanket, caressed her hair and held her (Thomas, & Davis, 2011, p. 30, 31). All of these actions were very damaging to the forensic aspect of the investigation. The note, however, is still full of telling…

There were two major motives for Gunness to do what she did. She really did have all of the odds in her favor and took advantage of this. Despite the fact that Gunness took out a large amount of money from the bank and also purchased five gallons of kerosine the day before the fire (Marimen et al., 2008, p. 94).…
