Patricia Piccinini is an Australian artist born in 1965, Freetown, Sierra Leone. Piccinini uses a variety of mediums to present a large range of artworks, these mediums include: painting, video, sound, installation, digital prints, and sculpture. Although Piccinini presents a wide range of mediums to the audience, almost all of her artworks follow the same ideology; technology’s impact on life. Patricia has expressed her interest in how nature works with technology to create something artificial which then changes and paves society.
