Patient's Perception Of Suicidal In Patients

The patient is a 44 yr old female who states that she came to the hospital because she her husband left her and took away their children. Patient said because of this she started to feel depressed and felt suicidal. The writer asked the patient if she is currtenly felt suicidal. Patient stated "Yes, because i've never been this long without my children." The writer asked the patient if she felt like inflicting harm to herself to please notify the staff and she agreed. Patient stated that she would like to go to rehab after she discharges. Patient stated on her CQI forms that she has extreme difficutly with adjusting to major life stresses, isolation/feelings of loneliness, depression/hoplessness, suicidal feelings/behavior, fear/anxiety/panic,
