Data information collected for this study was achieved via a patient self-questionnaire survey that investigated the patient’s personal perception of their diagnosis. Questions in the survey included educational level, time since diagnosis, alcohol intake, route of Hepatitis C transmission, current treatment status, and histological severity of liver disease. The goals of data collected were to identify the person’s belief regarding the severity of their disease and to detect if any lifestyle changes were subsequently made.
