Patient Assisted Suicide Case Study

Patient is a 40 yr old female who states that the last time she was on this unit was August of this year. Patient stated that after discharge she stayed at a friends house because she was feeling depressed and suicidal. Patient stated that while she was in her manic stage she walked the streets for three days. Patient stated that while she was on the streets she was attacked. Patient states that she does not feel happy. Patient states that she believes that she needs something that will occupy her time. Patient states that the reason why she came to the hospital because she had a gastritis attack. The writer asked the patient if she was currently feeling sucidial and the patient denied saying "not at the moment." The patient stated on her CQI form that she has moderate difficutly with concentrating on doing something for 10 minutes and dealing with people she does …show more content…
Patient also stated on her CQI forms that she has extreme difficutly with work, adjusting to major life stresses, relationships with family members, goals/direction in life, lack of interest
