Others might say it was the atmosphere of the ads whether its printed or a commercial there has to be a reason why you would think to yourself that product look interesting and why would actually buy that product. Some Ads appeal to emotional side of the viewer by showing the ads in a way to make some people insecure about themselves. That’s what most advertisers use in their ads the ethos, logos or pathos style to catch the viewers. Ethos the ethical appeal, means to convince an audience of the author’s credibility or character putting it simply ethos is the “why” factor for example they believe why they should sell this because they believe in what you the believe in. Then we have Logos the appeal to logic, means to convince an audience by use of logic or reason. People who use logos speak of only fact and statistics to get its appeal from the audience for example infomercials they would explain why the product would best the competitions. And lastly Pathos the emotional appeal, means to persuade an audience by appealing to their emotions.
