The film Girl with The Pearl Earring, directed by Peter Webber is a Fictional film about a young servant working for her master Johannes Vermeer. Pathetic Fallacy is techniques frequently used as the landscape influences our response as readers and allot of how Agnes is portrayed. The cold and harsh understanding of Agnes is pushed at the beginning, much like the terrain. It’s cold the weather isn’t forgiving and continuously makes the scenarios harder for people, living and maintaining a household. This is reflected in Agnes as she comes across as harsh and cold, her views and feelings towards life have been reflected through the pathetic fallacy around Iceland.
