In the midst of seeking entertainment, friends, approval, and security, many of us forget to begin or continue healthy habits. While many of us know this, it is easy to drop healthy habits for more convenient ones. Even though they are at times inconvenient, healthy activities have been shown time and time again to improve wellness and lifestyle; nurturing your body will lead you towards a better and less problematic daily routine. For one thing, taking good care of your body will significantly lower your risk of attaining life-shortening and painful diseases. For instance, a healthy cardiovascular system does not contain plaque and exhibits a slow heart rate when a body is at rest, and thus the risk of heart

First, I will keep a better eye on my nutrition. While I have the right amount of calories and water in my diet (as managing those nutrients is relatively simple for me), there are some vitamins and minerals I am probably missing out on due to the size of my vegetable and fruit servings. Second, I will make physical activity, especially running, more regular for me. While I have had good exercise during the summer, I should probably be a lot more careful of my physical activity during the summer. Last, I will do a better job of avoiding secondhand smoke. Health experts make it clear that smoke is very bad for all forms of your health, and while I was exposed to it only once or twice (while helping with broken down cars and other vehicle incidents), it would still be wise to make sure that I do not get regular exposure to carbon monoxide. For instance, I could avoid spending time around semi-truck loading stations, which have diesel trucks going in and out regularly.
