Patagonia Research Paper

Patagonia is in South America and is at the southernmost tip. Not many new people are moving to Patagonia in the recent years, but there is still many people going to for a vacation destination. Since not a lot of people are living on the island, you could say the “emptiness” of the island can be an impressive sight to see, you are able to see the mountain peaks, rivers, and the backwaters from the oceans (Introducing Patagonia). The region includes parts of Argentina and Chile. Patagonia is home to imaginative mountain peaks, glaciers and icefields, and gorgeous national parks. The weather in Patagonia in “incredibly unpredictable,” you can never rely on the local weather reports if you are planning a trip to Patagonia (10 Facts about Patagonia). Summer temperatures average 23 degrees celsius, which is approximately 73.4 degrees fahrenheit, and winters average temperatures are 44 degrees (Cello, et. al 591-602). One of the reasons why I think they will all accept this policy is they are pretty much all being treated fairly in land distribution, and other aspects of the policy. The one group that I think might have some problem with the policy that we passed is the international business owners. The reason why I think they might not like this policy is because they are the wealthy people of the island, and they will probably not like the idea that taxes are based on income. They will feel like they are not being treated fairly, but in reality they are if they have the money, which they do, they can pay the higher taxes. They also might not like the fact that they are not getting the majority of the land on the island. They think that since they have the money they can afford to have more of the land than they are
