Susan Harris and her family are members of the church. This past Sunday she came to my office because she was at her wits end. Before we start to talk I ask her to have a seat and we begin to pray. After we end out prayer Susan begins to tell me her problem. Susan and her husband Jack and son Sam are members of the church. On rare occasion Susan sings in the choir when her heal permits, and husband and son are not so request. Jack Harris works as a janitor for a cleaning company. However, Susan explains due to periodic unemployment Jack now is not working. Susan is suffering health problem and the family has no health insurance coverage. Susan is a survivor of intestinal cancer, and now has been issued permanent disability, in lieu of her cancer she has undergone multiple surgeries. Susan is worried and goes on to tells me how their son Sam, is having trouble in school because of his behavioral, and his grades are dropping.
