Many people from all over the world spend their favorite pastimes in different ways. Pastime is a time where something is served to make time pass agreeably such as reading, playing sports and etc.
For instance, many countries spend most of their time doing their hobbies. 45% of both Australia and Korea enjoys doing their hobbies comparing to other countries. This essay will be comparing and contrasting the statistics on people of ages from 30 to 50 years old spending their pastime.

Firstly, Television is one of the major increasingly mass media in worldwide. It broadcasts news and entertainment both vocally and visually. There is 65% of Australian spending their pastime watching television than Canadians and Americans spend 60%, Koreans

There are many types of sporting activity such as football, rugby, basketball, etc. The table above shows that 30% of Australians of ages from 30 to 50 years old play sports comparing to Canada, Korea, China and USA.

This statement and the statistics both stated how much Australian love their sports. Positive effect of sports by all odds outweighs the negative. A positive effect of sports is they draw people together whether it is members of a team or fans rooting for a certain team. Thirdly, reading is one of the pastime activities that I also enjoy. It is a mean of communication and of sharing information and ideas.
