This week we are asked to review past purchase we made and what impact did the in-store promotion influence our purchase. This past week, I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 bundle with keyboard and surface pen. I was in the market for a tablet, after doing some research and comparison with the Apple iPad Pro now my decision can sway either way. With all my research and browsing, I felt going into the store would be in my best interest. Arrived at my local Best Buy store most of these stores are set up the same way when a person walk in the store Apple product are the first kiosk they see. Big Apple display table set up so customers can interact with the product, played around with the Apple iPad Pro sale personal is telling me the features that these iPad Pro have. Not much for promotion and signage for any one product, but Apple product never had much for signage or display. In the past I did some at-home consultant work for Apple, so all the feature this sale person was telling me I already knew. …show more content…
This time a Microsoft employee greeted me; I know this because I ask him. I told him that I was in the market for a tablet and saw some commercial and was intrigued, by Surface Pro 4. In the meantime, I was talking to him I started to notice different signage about the Surface Pro 4 and general Best Buy information. Before this marketing class, I would never see the marketing influence that some companies have on the consumer just never paid attention to it before. I honestly believe that if I were never greeted by anybody, just reading the display, signage and interaction video in this kiosk would have been enough to, I still would have made my decision to purchase Microsoft Surface Pro 4. I honestly feel it would have answered all my question if nobody were here to greet me right away, never would have looked at before this

My purchased items wer broken down to five different orders, and on one of them there is a delivery fee of $29.99 for the Bulletin Board. SHEEL store was nice and big to be selling sport equipment or product and it was my first time there, so I don’t know much about them. The presentation was interesting, but some are not new to me. I know that a sport store or most store offer guarantee and services for the product in their sale and I do not trust much because before I buy something I want to make sure that it will be very useful and if not than it’s not worth to buy those services. However, I also make wrong choice and buy product that I will only use it once, which I thinks that it’ common among many consumer and we just need to understand ourselves for what we want or need. Today, I learned and see things different, for instance the sock and shoes presentation was very interesting because I have no idea how their role would contribute to our health.…

She gave us a grade on each part of the business plan and my marketing plan got a “B+” Body I. Marketing is a way for companies to make their products know so people might buy them. a. Since the beginning of currency’s existence, people have centered around the use of financial institutions to allow them to comfortably handle their money in a safe and secure manner. At American Eagle Credit Union, located at the Butler Hill Rd and Tesson Ferry Rd, crossing the overall atmosphere can be defined through how people use their senses to get an overall feeling of their environment. The senses most relevant and influential to the banking atmosphere are what is seen, what you can smell, and what you can hear. The first thing seen upon entering an establishment often sets the first impression of the atmosphere. Upon entry through two sets of glass doors, you can see a touchscreen located on a round desk with promotional slips in…

This is my argument about stores who are tracking shoppers. Do you think it's bad that stores are gathering data from your phone? I don't think it's bad they are sending you discounts on merchandise that you may like but can't afford. Also if you don't want the stores to gather data just turn your phone off. Some people say that ¨you're being spied on, the stores are stalking you , and it's invading your privacy.”…

Fundamental Marketing Strategy: A push marketing strategy creates demand for the product through promotion. A pull strategy uses advertising to build up customer demand for the product. After weighing the pros and cons of each strategy, Culinarian Cookware’s (CC) fundamental marketing strategy should be a pull strategy. [Exhibit 1] Since the 2004 Price Promotion, a push strategy, retailers have started to develop a dependency on price reductions, which creates a slippery slope into a pattern of always having to provide trade promotions. Given that retailers do not have a contract with CC, there is no guarantee that additional orders will be placed after each promotion.…
