To most people they never think that they will end up getting a concussion, I was one of those people. When people get concussions, they don’t think that much of it besides they need to take it easy. What they don’t realize is that concussions are more serious than just taking it easy. I have had past and present experiences of concussions and I know that they are nothing to play around with. There are so many symptoms of a concussion that doctors or athletic trainers need to check for. The major symptoms are headaches, nausea, dizziness, sensitive to light and sound, neck pains, and balance problems. When you get a concussion, it is easy to get another one, and if you are like me and you continue to play or practice after you get one it makes your head get worse and that is what happened to me. I have gone through so much trouble with my concussions because I was being stubborn and decided I was okay. Since I did that I am having to undergo different tests to see what is wrong with my head. In this essay I have talked about Traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion syndrome, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, and my own experiences about concussions.
