Passion For Cosmetology Essay

“Some people succeed because they are destined but most because they are determined. “ unknown. I want succeed in my career and stretch it as much as I possibly can. For me to achieve this goal I need this grant for my senior so I can get a head start on my future. Before mercy I did not know what my future was and I did not have any goals. It was my teachers and my fellow students that helped me realize my talent and it grew into a passion. Also, if it was not for this scholarship program I will now be where I am today. I forever will be internally grateful for all of the help that is scholarship has given to my family and I.

My passion for cosmetology has grown even stronger over the past year and I believe it will continue to grow. After I graduate Mercy, with my full Cosmetology licence, I do plan on taking my education on to college. I would like to go to the Douglas Education center in Monessen, Pa to study for my associates degree in special effects makeup. My cosmetology class had the opportunity to go to Dorney Park and observe the makeup crew for their attraction “Haunt”. It was an experience that I will never forget and it really gave me clarity in the choice for college I want to make and it gave me an insight on what I want to do for the rest of my life. …show more content…
As a child I grew up not knowing what I wanted to be , but now I am certain in what my future brings. I have my cosmetology teacher to thank for opening my eyes to my talent and making me realize how much I really enjoy doing it. My academic teachers also helped and never gave up on any student.
