Partisan polarization has caused such a division in government that is it extremely hard for the government to agree, and get there job done. The division isn’t just between democrat and republican but also between republicans and the tea party (more conservative republicans) this makes it very hard to come into agreement in a political party. Especially because of the consequences that it brought to the government starting with the lack of compromise and bipartisanship that happens in the government, and the increase in gridlock with lack of policy activity.
