I want to serve as an orientation advisor because I would like to give back. Participating in Pre-O was the best decision I made. Not only did it allow me to become familiar with the campus before classes started, I made deep connections with wonderful people. These connections helped me survive my first semester of college. I was and still am going through a lot of personal issues and my friends, whom I met in Pre-O, have been pulling me through this rough time. They are always there if I need a shoulder to cry on or if I need to vent. Because of this, I would like to be an anchor for the incoming freshmen as my friends have been with me.
