On top of the Parthenon there is a long frieze high upon the walls (Chrisp 64).The reason for the frieze was because of a religious procession because it was Athena’s birthday (Chrisp 72).On the frieze it shows an annual procession (Coolidge 91).
There was a time that Greece had become very joyful.This time was called the Golden Age.It was called the Golden Age because Athens was the Greek city state of Athens from 480 to 404 B.C.
