Life has taught me to expect the worst, yet work for the best. You cannot hope for anything if you are not prepared to work for what you hope for. If you hope for an A+ yet, do not study you’ll be greatly disappointed. For example, I hoped I would get my sight fixed. The sad truth is I hoped for something unattainable and unrealistic. Perhaps, i’m not ready to accept the possibility of hope. On a deeper note, maybe I am what some would call a Pessimist. Some would think I don’t want to believe in hope because I am bitter. That could be partly true. Or the honest truth is I have believed in hope but, it didn’t turn out. So, I stopped believing. As hope has only ended in tears and anger for me.I decided to simply stop hoping. I save everyone around me my wrath and sadly take the easy way out.I hope no one ever stops hoping. Although, I try and live by the fact that if you do not work for it, it was not worth hoping for in the first place.
