This email is to respond to your request to review and advise you on Mr. Stahl’s recommendation to create a part-time CO II program.
After a meeting last March between Mr. Stahl, John Bogert and you, some of us (Gail, Colleen, Carson, John, and I) discussed the proposal to create part-time CO II positions and concluded that it probably would not be feasible for several reasons.
We would end up converting full-time positions, if we did not create additional positions for part-time CO IIs. Naturally, we would prefer to fill a full-time position with a full-time employee. There would probably be two types of part-time employees: one would be retired CORP people wanting to pick up some part-time hours and former correctional
