Paying their sentencing and more time can probably help them realize what they really did, and know that it was a big mistake from their part. Then there are those huge crimes like rape, violence, and murder where those should be long sentencing. Those crimes are very difficult to deal with because of the people who are hurting behind it. Sometimes there isn’t no high sentencing for those and some inmates get on parole. Higher crimes are the ones that I believe should be life sentencing. While minor crimes should be eligible to be on parole or probation. In the article Rodriguez committed a crime of shooting and killing a man. Due to family problems and he lost it. He completed his sentencing and did more than what he was asked for. Judge said after his sentencing he was eligible for parole. That didn’t happen with his case, parole board kept ignoring his hearing. Rodriguez had good conduct, studied to do mechanic shop. Also, was a great remodel in the prison. There are no chances for Rodriguez to get out of jail anytime soon. He’s spent his life pretty much in person, and even with a good conduct will still stay behind bars. The parole boards won’t share information to inmates to why they are being kept there for so long. In only a few states their parole files are public. They are very private to inmate’s files. Seems to not want to show public of how it really is. Parole should give them a chance to remake their lives. Parole can help them work like everyone else and have a stabled home. Even if it means to be suprivsed a few times a week. In the criminal justice field there those who really see that offenders do try to make the best of their time in jail. Although, there will be those who don’t care about life because they will never get out. These boards shouldn’t treat these offenders like they’re worthless. Each of us make mistakes in our own way, and deserve to be given a second chance. Some shouldn’t feel like they’re higher than the inmates. The people from parole boards don’t have the education that is qualified for the job. That could be the reason why don’t have patience to giving a second chance.
