Parkinson’s disease is a disorder of the nervous system that tends to cause irregularities in your movement. This results in movement disorder- an illness that develops slowly over time. The disease can start with something as subtle as a sudden shivering in the hand and may eventually lead to stiffness, violent trembles, loss of balance and much more.
Dopamine is a chemical composition released by our brain that acts as a signal transmitter for other nerve cells. The lack of adequate dopamine production by the brain is what causes Parkinson’s.
