“To the windows, to the walls, to the walls, till the sweat drips down our socks, all these girlies rock! Park View Soccer!” The Park View varsity soccer team yelled before going on the field. They knew that they could win this game if the played as a team. This is the game that they have been waiting for. The game that would show everyone that they are the champions and always will be.

Dribble, pass, shoot, the fundamentals of soccer. What you do when you play soccer. You get better at dribbling, passing and shooting. But is that all you get better at? The Park View girl’s soccer program has been going on since the school was built. Overall, since the development of the little nine league, The Park View varsity girl’s soccer team has won 7 champion titles, the first one was in 2003. The coaches

At practice you can see the way that everyone encourages each other. No one puts each other down. “It is a really light and easy atmosphere,” Says Murphy Mauve, a first year soccer player, “I never feel like I am being yelled at or ignored because if I screw up there is always someone that is there to help me out.” There is a lot of heart on this team, everyone loves the game and is willing to do whatever they can to help out everyone. For practice everyday, they have to set up the goals and take them down after practice. Everyone helps and uses teamwork to get them set up so they can practice. “In the beginning of the year, everyone would always rush to get the easiest job, I would constantly have to say, ‘If you set up the far goal, you take down the near one.’” Mrs. Harrison says, “ Now they all help each other out and are always there for each other. I have seen them grow a lot while they were on the team.” This team seems so close, you would think that it is one group of friends that would play soccer, but in a way it
