Paris ruined my life. Absolutely and utterly decimated it. Now, after spending a mere two weeks in France, no other vacation or city can compare. At least once a day, if not more, I recount how an aspect of my life would greatly improve if I lived in the Francophone country. If accepted, I would need to find something completely new to complain about. Though there is not much I would alter about my trip to France with my classmates, I couldn’t help but feel like a tourist the entire time, and that is not the Paris I want to experience. I want to have a routine; a certain order to every day. Buy fresh fruit from the local marché, ride le métro to class, and sit for hours at cafés, watching the world stroll by.
