Paris Paris, known as the love city of the world, was not alwayss known as Paris. Its original name was Lutetia. Paris is the capital of France and the largest city in France. People from all around the world come to visit Paris to see the famous Eiffel Tower; however, they also come to learn french culture, see famous art, sample food, listen to the city’s sounds, and to see the city’s beautiful parks and gardens. When people are askeded where they would like to travel, Paris is normally at the top of the list.
Long ago in ancient time, there was a Celtic tribe who founded a city named, Lutetia. Lutetia is known as modern day Paris. “In ancient times, a Celtic tribe called the Parisii lived in what is now Paris”. (Academic) Paris was known to been founded over 2,000 or 250 BC years ago. Paris was not alway named Paris. “It was called Lutetia and it was actually named after a Celtic tribe who first founded Paris.”(Paris) The people of France back then was there around 2,000 years ago. “The first settlement in Paris was predicted to happen around 250 BC or over 2,000 years ago. Paris is an amazing city if you really think about it, having The Eiffel Tower which is one of the tallest man made structure in the world, having had the title of the tallest man made structure for over 40 years. You can truly see why the Eiffel Tower is Paris biggest attraction and most well known attractions in the city. Going to Paris is a must when ask where to vacation having so many attraction from The Eiffel Tower to the Louver Palace to the Famous painting and statues that lie in the museum to the beautiful city. Paris is a city like no other and if asked paris should be and is one of the first place that come to mind when they are ask where they want to go on vacation. Work
