Choosing to not give an individual vaccines puts them at great risk for multiple diseases, some that are fatal. Not only do vaccines protect the individual, but the entire community as a whole. If a child were to not receive the flu vaccine, then they are at greater risk of getting the flu, and when they do, there’s a good chance that the illness will spread to others. In this way, vaccines are monumental in preventing epidemic outbreaks in our communities. I plan to support my position by using medical websites that are certified and are historically known for providing quality information on all health issues in general. I also plan to use online databases to find medical journals and scientific studies, such as ones where vaccines have been tested to determine what side effects are possible. I realize many people may have other reasons for opposing making vaccines legal, so I plan to address these positions in my paper and develop general plan that could be put into place to ensure everyone becomes vaccinated that also minimizes the concerns people may
