Peer Support Reflection Paper

Overall, I rate this article as a 4 out of 5. It is very well organized, presents samples and comparisons and is very well written. The only thing, I would change in this article would be the organization of the topics. For Example, The hypotheses, methods and procedures were placed at the end with the results. I believe the hypotheses, methods, and procedures would have been more effective placed at the beginning of the article before the presentation of the data that is broken up into sections. I would still leave the results section at the end. I also found a variance of data from the abstract to the methodology. The abstract listed that the test population was ages 6-15, while the explanation of the methodology states that the test population …show more content…
It also discussed the different methods of peer support which gave me information to use for evidence throughout. The comparison and contrast of various methods of peer support provided a solid base of information to pull from when needed. I also enjoyed the authors use of quotations from various sources, this not only provided more information for me but gave me various other sources to pull from in my research. I enjoyed how they broke each gender down and provided information and statistics for each gender and the effects it has on the grieving. I felt like gender could have been discussed a little more, Perhaps dividing age and gender into different sections. I found the Type of Parental Death Section to be interesting as well and full of great information. It divided the information up into anticipated and sudden deaths, and how each can have differing effects on the
