In Torren (2013) research focused in sixteen groups that were similar. This research focused on 22 children with parental alienation and their parents. The children’s level of anxiety and depression decreased largely following these therapeutic interventions. The families who participated in these treatments found to have overcome the effects of parental alienations. These families had to complete the twelve-month program to be successful. Torren (2013) also found the impact of parental alienation were negatively correlated with children’s level of anxiety and depression therefore therapeutic interventions were needed to help the child and the parent as
