One potential problem are that the family may want to you change what you are doing in the classroom with all the children in order to accommodate their child. The attitude of the family member may put them in opposition with the professional whose role is to advocate for the group rather than the individual child. Parents advocating for their child may make it hard for the teacher to understand the individual requests, and then to carry out the limitations. The child may want to join in the crowd and do what the rest of the children are doing.
